Kindergarten Funding
Utilising Kindergarten Base Subsidy
Early childhood education centers may choose to allocate a portion of their Kindergarten Base Subsidy funding toward enhancing children's learning experiences, including nutrition and body image focused initiatives.
Investing in our multi-faceted program can complement the approved kindergarten curriculum by providing staff education, fostering early knowledge of nutrition and body image, supporting child development, and creating a learning environment that embraces evidence-based nutrition and positive body image practices for all children.
Additionally, these lessons can be tailored to support the developmental needs of children at all stages of early learning, from Nursery through to Pre-Prep.
For further clarification on funding eligibility, centers are encouraged to review subsidy guidelines or consult with the relevant funding body.
